This Amish-made chicken coop kit is perfect for the hobby farmer! Each panel section of this chicken coop kit is designed and carefully crafted by Amish woodworkers in Ohio. This chicken coop kit features a small door for your chickens and a large door to make egg collection easy.

Your kit will come in panelized wall sections. Each piece is precut and all hardware and fasteners are included. You must provide your own shingles, drip edge, and paint, which you can purchase at your local hardware store.

Your chicken coop kit will include the following:

  • Easy-access people door for egg collecting
  • 14 x 21-inch working window with tempered glass and screens
  • Holds up to 12 chickens
  • Chicken door with ramp
  • 6 nesting bins with an egg-laying area
  • Runners on legs for movability
  • Solid plywood material
  • Chicken door dimensions: 9.5W x 12H inches
  • People door dimensions: 34W x 61.5H inches
  • Coop dimensions: 7 ft. 4 in. L x 8 ft. 1 in. W x 6 ft. 9 in. H

Note: Coop comes unpainted; coop is coated in beige primer ready to paint

This panelized kit is shipped nationwide via common carrier. When your shipment is expected to be delivered, you will be required to have two (2) people there to help unload your kit. Your shipment will arrive on pallets. The truck driver will help remove the bands and wrapping from the pallets and then two people are required to unload each panel, piece by piece from the truck.

There are several great reasons to raise your own chickens, the most obvious reason is of course your continuous supply of fresh, organic, eggs. Chickens are easy to manage and they provide free fertilizer for your gardening needs.

LOVE IT!
I purchased this product in first 2012 after pricing out the materials at the local big box store. The price and the work involved made it very undesirable for me to consider building my own coop. My (very smart) husband suggested I go with an Amish built product. He is a truck driver based in PA and admires the Amish work ethic and way of life. I looked on line and was instantly offered assistance from Mike and decided to give this coop a try. I purchased it, it arrived in 1 week, took 1 day to assemble and that evening my chicken moved in. I love the coop so much I bought a second coop this year and expanded my flock. I recommend this coop for satisfaction of living area, storage capability, and safety for my flock. It's easy to clean too! Love It!!!
