These Play Systems are designed to be challenging, versatile, fun, and above all, safe for children from infants to pre-teens. Your child's safety is the number one concern when design these Play Sets. The Production Manager, who is very involved in the design of these units, is a certified Playground Safety Inspector by the National Recreation and Park Association.
Choosing a Site for Your Swing Set
Measure the proposed area where you would like to locate your play set. Note the length and width of your space, and remember to consider the height if you're placing your system under trees. For safe play, allow at least 3-4 feet around your play set. The area where the set is installed should be level, especially for base units.
Choosing Your Ground Cover
Selecting your ground cover is one of the most important and most overlooked safety features for play sets. No matter how careful they are, children may fall. You want their landing to be as safe and injury free as possible! We recommend installing one of the three types of ground cover listed below:
1) Lush turf grass
2) 6" of bark mulch
3) Shredded rubber mulch
* Although cement and gravel are low maintenance, they are not kid-friendly!
