The Crunchy Romaine Salad has a few surprises that gives it that extra kick and makes it taste oh so yummy!
1 head romaine lettuce 1 head broccoli tomatoes green onions, chopped (optional) shredded cheddar cheese 1 pkg. Ramen noodles, broken 1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped 2 Tbsp. butter
Dressing 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1/2 salad or olive oil 1 tsp. soy sauce 1/3 tsp salt pinch of black pepper 1 pkg chicken seasoning that was with Ramen noodles
For Dressing: Heat sugar and vinegar until sugar is dissolved. Add the next five ingredients. Beat well. Cool. Fry Ramen noodles and pecans in butter until toasted. Cool. Cut up lettuce, broccoli and tomatoes. Add cheese and onions. Before serving toss with dressing, noodles and pecans.
