Solidly built from wood, the Colonial Gable Greenhouse is a gorgeous addition to your garden area and makes a perfect place to enjoy your love of gardening. With plenty of room, this greenhouse offer space for flowers, plants and your favorite fruits and veggies. This colonial style greenhouse features Dutch doors with windows, colonials hinges, and door latches. The Dutch doors allows you to add ventilation to your greenhouse. This greenhouse includes a Sunsky corrugated polycarbonate roof which helps to direct sunlight to your plants and flowers. This greenhouse is delivered fully assembled and set in place. Our driver will need access to your property. The exterior is available primed and ready to paint or painted white, you can select this option above.. This greenhouse also features single hung working windows with screens so you can let the air in without the bugs, as well as transom windows. Shelving on three sides of this greenhouse gives you additional room for plants and a work space.

Siding info
This Octagon Greenhouse is sided with LP Smartside®. LP Smartside® is a quality wood based product, which is treated to resist rot, termites, and mold. It also comes with a 5 year replacement/ 50 year limited warranty. Smartside® is considered to be a “green” building material, because it is a renewable resource having a low environmental impact.
Shipping and Delivery Info:
Please see lead times list above for an estimated completion date of your structure. Once your structure is completed, we will then schedule a truck for delivery. Your structure will be shipped on a large trailer and will be set into the final location using a fork lift. Our driver will need access to the property and be able to maneuver the structure into position. Any existing fencing, trees, etc will need to be considered before delivery. They'll need approximately 2ft wider than your structure and about 14ft high clearance from low lying trees. The driver will contact you before delivery to arrange for a convenient delivery time. Please have all nesseccary site preparation completed before delivery. If you need a delivery time later than what is shown on our site, please let us know at the time of your order and we'll do our best to accomodate you.

Correct Site Preparation is very important to the longevity of your building.
Crushed Stone
We recommend using crushed stone approximately 4-5" deep. We also advise that you have 12" of stone around the perimeter of the outbuilding to control weeds and keep moisture away from the building. Before installing the stone, you can either dig out 4" of soil and simply make the stone ground level, or you can make the frame with 4x4s or landscape timbers and then fill flush to the top with stone.
Concrete Pad
Another option would be to have a concrete pad installed. If you are going to have a concrete pad installed, remember to keep the pad as close to ground level as possible. We recommend that you make the pad 12" wider on each side of the building.
Note: If you're using concrete as a floor, the concrete pad must be the exact size as the building. If your pad is larger than the building, please let us know and we'll modify the bottom plate.
Using crushed stone or a concrete pad will increase the longevity of your building. Having the proper site allows needed air flow, which will keep your building looking great for years to come!
Permits
If it is necessary to obtain a building permit or cross a neighboring property, it is the buyer’s responsibility to obtain a neighbor’s permission or to purchase the necessary permits prior to delivery.

10x12 Colonial Gable Greenhouse Kit - SKU 591 (Little Cottage Greenhouses)
It has been amazing, we love it, it worked great keeping our plants alive during our long dark days of winter in the Pacific North West. As you will see we finished it off with interior walls, lighting, heaters, fans and insulation. The kit was well layed out and easy to assemble. Once we prepped the site it took us two days total to assemble, maybe 12 hours total with three of us helping. The interior finishing took longer but that was the fun stuff.
