For centuries the lighthouse at Cape Henry has guided sailors through the Chesapeake Bay. The Cape Henry Lighthouse was first constructed in 1792 and it was the first lighthouse authorized by the U.S. government. After concerns about the stability of the lighthouse, a second lighthouse was built in 1881 only a short distance from the first.
Now you can own a piece of history with this Amish handcrafted lighthouse modeled after the second Cape Henry lighthouse tower.
Light up your flowerbed or garden with this Amish made lighthouse. Handcrafted of premium exterior wood and hand-painted with exterior latex paint, these lighthouses are designed to handsomely weather the elements. Each lighthouse has an electrical light installed and is ready to be plugged in an enjoyed.
The standard poly lighthouse comes with a non-blinking light. Just run an extension cord to your lighthouse to power it. You can also choose to upgrade to a blinking light for a more realistic lighthouse look. For the 4 and 5 foot lighfthouses another optional upgrade is the revolving light - the ultimate in realism. Skip the extension cord entirely by upgrading to the solar light. The solar light includes a dusk/dawn sensor which turns the light on at dusk and off at dawn.
