Since 1826, the lighthouse on the western end of Fire Island, a barrier island off the southern coast of Long Island, New York, has been guiding sailors. The original tower was 74 feet tall but was replaced in 1858 by a taller 180-foot lighthouse.
Now you can enjoy an Amish made lighthouse reminiscent of the Fire Island Light in your flowerbed or garden.
Light up your flowerbed or garden with this Amish made lighthouse. Handcrafted of premium exterior wood and hand-painted with exterior latex paint, these lighthouses are designed to handsomely weather the elements. Each lighthouse has an electrical light installed and is ready to be plugged in an enjoyed.
The standard poly lighthouse comes with a non-blinking light. Just run an extension cord to your lighthouse to power it. You can also choose to upgrade to a blinking light for a more realistic lighthouse look. For the 4 and 5 foot lighfthouses another optional upgrade is the revolving light - the ultimate in realism. Skip the extension cord entirely by upgrading to the solar light. The solar light includes a dusk/dawn sensor which turns the light on at dusk and off at dawn.
